Meet Our Heroes
This year, two of our very own staff from Lao Friends Hospital for Children (LFHC) are running to raise funds and awareness for children’s healthcare in Northern Laos in this year’s Run For Children Luang Prabang Marathong on October 25, 2025.
Behind LFHC’s beloved mascot Dr. Jaidee is Lou, our Infection Control and Quality Improvement Manager. Lou is running 7 km inside the mascot suit ( come rain, shine, or humidity) to raise funds for essential infection-control equipment and training.
With recent measles outbreaks affecting children across Laos, your support ensures we can protect every child in our care.
George is running 14 Km to raise $5,000 USD to build a new English curriculum for our doctors, nurses, and staff.
Better language skills mean better patient care — opening doors to medical knowledge, research, and global collaboration.
Every dollar raised helps create new learning resources that will empower our healthcare heroes to grow and provide the best care possible.
